Why would anyone want to purchase Rum Infused Barrels?

1. It’s ready to use, right out of the box. Just pour your liquor in and start aging.
2. The barrel won’t soak up all your liquor since it is already cured with a great rum.
3. If you are making a batch of flavored rum using our essence (bootleg) it tastes better when you can age it in a flavor infused rum barrel since it will pull the flavors in from the wood.
4. You may want to age something else in your pre-cured rum barrel. Have you ever tasted tequila, whiskey or scotch aged in a pre-cured rum barrel? If not then you should give it a try. The barrel will come pre-flavored with the rum flavor of your choice.

NOTE – You will need to fill the barrel with your alcohol (or distilled water if you are not ready) as soon as you receive it so it doesn’t dry out. Once a used rum barrel dries out it may not cure up. If you are going to fill it with water then you will want to make sure to crush a campden tablet inside to prevent mold from building up.
